Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-29
01About this policy
1.1 This Privacy Policy explains how GameGlass Inc, a Delaware corporation ("GameGlass", "we", "us"), collects, uses and shares personal information when you use the gameglass.gg website, the GameGlass Software (including GameGlass Hub, the companion apps and the web interface served by GameGlass Hub) and the Online Services.
1.2 GameGlass is the controller of your personal information. You can contact us at support@gameglass.gg or GameGlass Inc, 8 The Green Suite #8110, Dover, Delaware, 19901, US.
1.3 This Privacy Policy is part of the GameGlass Terms, together with the End User License Agreement ("EULA") and the Terms of Service. Words defined in the EULA, such as "Software", "Online Services" and "Shards", have the same meaning here.
1.4 We try to collect as little personal information as we can. For example, we do not ask for your age or date of birth, and we do not store IP addresses in our product analytics.
02Information we collect
2.1 Account information. When you create a GameGlass account, we collect your email address, your username and your login details. You also tell us whether you agree to receive marketing emails.
2.2 Signing in with another service. If you sign in with Apple, Discord, Facebook, Google or Twitch, that service shares basic profile information with us, such as your name, email address, profile picture and account ID, depending on your settings with that service. We do not receive your password for that service.
2.3 Purchase information. When you buy a subscription or a Lifetime plan, our payment providers collect your name, email address, billing country or address and payment details. We do not receive or store your full card number. We keep a record of what you bought, when, and how much you paid.
2.4 Shards and other User Content. We store the Shards and other content you create, sync or publish. Shards you publish publicly can be seen, downloaded and remixed by other users, as described in the Terms of Service.
2.5 Game data. GameGlass Hub reads data from supported games, such as in-game status and telemetry, and sends it over an encrypted connection to your other devices so your Shards can display it. GameGlass Hub connects to your devices directly, over your local network where possible. If a direct connection is not possible, the encrypted data is relayed through Cloudflare's relay servers, which pass it on without storing it. We do not store this game data.
2.6 Usage and diagnostic data. The Software and the Online Services send us information about how they are used and how they perform, such as features used, errors and crashes, app version, operating system and device type. This data is linked to your account so we can understand how GameGlass is used and fix problems. We have set our analytics so that IP addresses are not stored.
2.7 Website data. When you visit gameglass.gg, and where you allow it (see Section 5.2), Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how you got to the site, your browser and device, and your approximate location. See Section 5.
2.8 Advertising data in GameGlass Hub. On the Basic plan and during the free trial, GameGlass Hub shows ads provided by Overwolf and its advertising partners. They may collect device identifiers, your IP address and information about the ads you see and interact with. See Section 5.
2.9 Support messages and feedback. When you contact us or post on our feedback board, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
03How we use your information and our legal bases
3.1 We use personal information for these purposes. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the legal basis for each is shown in brackets.
- To create and run your account, provide the Software and the Online Services, sync your Shards, and check which Paid Features you can use (performance of our contract with you).
- To process payments, subscriptions and refunds, and to keep financial records (performance of our contract with you, and compliance with tax and accounting laws).
- To understand how GameGlass is used, fix bugs and crashes, and improve the product (our legitimate interest in running and improving GameGlass).
- To send you service emails, such as receipts, renewal notices and important changes to the GameGlass Terms (performance of our contract with you).
- To send you marketing emails, if you opted in (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To fund the free plan through ads in GameGlass Hub (our legitimate interest in offering a free plan; where the law requires consent for personalized ads, Overwolf and its partners are responsible for asking for it).
- To understand how visitors use our website through Google Analytics (your consent where the law requires it, and otherwise our legitimate interest in improving our website).
- To keep GameGlass secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce the GameGlass Terms (our legitimate interest in protecting GameGlass and its users).
- To comply with the law and respond to lawful requests (compliance with legal obligations).
05Ads, cookies and analytics
5.1 Ads in GameGlass Hub. Overwolf and its advertising partners, including Google Ad Manager, choose and measure the ads shown in GameGlass Hub. We do not give them your account information, such as your email address. They may use device identifiers and other information to show ads, which may be personalized where the law allows and, where required, with your consent. Overwolf's privacy policy explains what they collect and your choices. Paid plans do not show ads.
5.2 Website analytics. Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it. We do not use it to advertise to you or to show you GameGlass ads on other websites. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, these cookies are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link on our website. You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on.
5.3 Product analytics. The Software and the Online Services use PostHog for analytics and error tracking. PostHog is not used for advertising.
5.4 Do Not Track. Our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
06How long we keep information
6.1 Account information is kept until you delete your account.
6.2 Usage and diagnostic data is kept in PostHog under our PostHog data retention settings. When you delete your account, we remove your email address from PostHog, and the remaining usage data can no longer be linked to you.
6.3 Purchase records are kept by us and our payment providers for as long as tax and accounting laws require, even after you delete your account.
6.4 Shards are deleted when you delete them or your account. Published Shards are removed when your account is deleted, but copies and remixes other users already made are not affected (see the Terms of Service).
6.5 Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe or delete your account.
6.6 Support messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and keep a record of it.
6.7 Deleted information may remain in backups for a limited period until those backups are replaced.
07International transfers
7.1 GameGlass is based in the United States, and our main servers are in the United States. Cloudflare handles traffic through data centers around the world. Our product analytics and feedback board are processed in the European Union, and some providers process information in other countries.
7.2 When we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where a provider is certified under it, or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
08Your rights and choices
8.1 Everyone. Wherever you live, you can:
- see and update your account information, including your email address, at profile.gameglass.gg or in GameGlass Hub;
- delete your account at any time under "Manage Account" at profile.gameglass.gg or in GameGlass Hub under Settings > Account > Manage Account;
- unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any marketing email; and
- ask us for a copy of your personal information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing support@gameglass.gg.
8.2 European Economic Area and United Kingdom. You also have the right to restrict or object to our use of your personal information, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it). You can complain to your local data protection authority.
8.3 US states. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we have about you, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. We do not use your information for targeted advertising. For ads in GameGlass Hub, see Section 5.1 and Overwolf's privacy policy.
8.4 Australia. You can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy complaint.
8.5 We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, usually by asking you to write from the email address on your account. We will respond within one month, or sooner if the law where you live requires it. We will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights.
09Children
9.1 GameGlass is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it and delete its personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact support@gameglass.gg.
10Security
10.1 We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of your information.
10.2 GameGlass Hub runs a local service that your other devices connect to over your local network. You are responsible for the security of your own devices and network, as described in Section 3.4 of the EULA.
11Changes to this policy
11.1 We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version is always at gameglass.gg/legal/privacy-policy with its "Last updated" date.
11.2 For material changes, we will give at least 30 days' notice on the website, in the Software or by email before they take effect.
